I. The Origin Folio IX
TRACTATE IX: SOURCE

1.9 Source

It is imperative to understand that what we term 'The Source' is not a place, nor a being, but the unmanifested spring from which all reality cascades. It is the void that is entirely full, the silence that contains every sound.

FIG. IX — THE FOUNT It is imperative to understand that what we term 'The Source' is not a place, nor a being, but…

To apprehend The Source is to embrace paradox. When we observe the physical world, we are merely viewing the outermost ripples of a stone cast into a cosmic pond aeons ago. To return to our origin, we must trace these ripples backwards.

The Great Work is entirely predicated on this remembrance. We recognize that the observer and the observed are merely two faces of the same initial emanation.

“It is the center of the circle whose circumference is nowhere.”
